Expertise

Questions related to proper kinetics and use of body structure to achieve relaxation, posture correction, breathe control, fitness, strength and power. In addition, general Martial Arts questions and those related to integrity, morality and discipline are welcome. Also, I will answer Iron Palm training questions only. I will not provide teaching material via the internet. It is a highly complex program requiring hands on instruction. I prefer to teach it in person to worthy students. If you wish to know more about myself, then I suggest these 2 pages:

What do you like about this subject?

This material helps me physically and mentally. It shows me that there are alternatives and better ways of doing things. It is a path that we all walk in life. I want my path to be covered with flowers.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

All I wish to achieve are two things: 1) to become better at what I am learning, and 2) to have a core group of dedicated students willing to push themselves beyond their limits.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Master George Ling Hu is my teacher. He's one of the most knowledgable & accessible instructors in the US with a background covering a wide range of subjects: Tai Chi, Shuai Chiao, Longfist, Ba Gua, Qi Gong, Character System, Acupressure, Acupuncture and Yoga. He stresses relaxation & complete body linkage. He holds regular workshops with practitioners from all over the US.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

I recently spent a yr with a misdiagnosed heart condition that was actually SEVERE anemia caused by a rare form of Leukemia. Blood tests showed my hemoglobin count 1/5 normal. The doctor could'nt understand how I was even conscious. I attribute my ability to live thru this period to past training. My martial arts "savings bank" helped me survive what could've been my death if not caught in time.
