What do you like about this subject?  A swimming pool can bring a ton of joy or a ton of headaches for the average homeowner. There is nothing more rewarding than helping someone get rid of their headaches and create a pleasurable experience.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  Since this is a seasonal business in most of the country, most employees are undertrained and not qualified. Typically, the smaller the company, the better the service which contradicts the rule of thumb for most businesses. Water chemistry and running your pool too few hours/days is the root of most issues. Test Chlorine, pH, Alkalinity, Water Hardness and Cyanuric Acid on a regular basis.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  1) Sand filters and Cartridge Filters should be outlawed. DE Filters are a far more superior product. 2) Don't be "penny wise and dollar foolish". If you cut corners, you will have headaches. 3) Don't spend good money for bad. Know when it is time to replace and not repair.
