I do not know what your boating experience, but a 70 - 85 footer will be almost impossible for you to captain if you have little or no experience. Having said that, that size boat will serve you fine,
Ahoy James, I emphasize that I am not a tax expert, and I am not familiar with all the states' sales tax and personal property tax laws. You write that you are considering a change in your residency
Ahoy John, That is a big and ambitious voyage for your brother's 1986 Chris Craft, especially if it has gas engines and not diesels. You will be asking for trouble trying to go 100 miles or 10 hours
Ahoy Frank, Sorry it took so long to answer your question. I just returned from a yacht delivery. Are you asking how far it is between Charleston and Hilton Head because you do not have a chart?
