Expertise

I can answer questions about the practical aspect of the martial arts, like comparing which martial art systems can work for which people in which situations and how their philosophies can apply even in non combat-situations (like sports for example). Even if you think your question is too weird or too farout I'm the person to ask. I can answer questions about Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, Judo, Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts. Martial Arts it`s a way of life for me I'd like it to be a part of yours too.

Experience in the area

I am a practitioner of Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts, and I have comparatively studied the martial arts both academically and practically. I now teach self defense once a week to hearing impaired (Deaf) students.

What do you like about this subject?

I like the martial arts because to me conflict is a necessity for change. We either clash or resolve it. I prefer to resolve things with the minimum amount of force necessary. If the required force is zero that is all that is necessary. I don't usually believe in overkill.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I still hope to continue learning as much as I could. I shall forever be a student of the Martial Arts and teach that passion to others. I hope to consolidate all my learning in a holistic combat form, which does not have such a steep learning curve, with my two friends.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

(1)Bruce Lee used to correspond with other martial artists and Martial Arts enthusiasts much like what we do here in Allexperts. (2)Former Bruce Lee student Mike Stone now lives in the Philippines in Bohol(3)It is rumored that Napoleon used Sun-Tzu's ART OF WAR in his battles.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Don't hurt, INJURE, it saves lives.
