I am a personal safety coach with over 20 years experience in non-aversive and aversive physical intervention. I have a strong background in impact, edged, and aerosol weapons training; conflict resolution; crisis management; threat assessment and response training; stress/fear management; and personal safety awareness.

Experience in the area

I am a certified violence prevention specialist working in the Canadian public sector teaching human services professionals (caregivers, hospital staff, emergency service workers), safeguard strategies to avoid getting hurt at the workplace. As someone who has worked with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health issues for over 10 years, dealing with outward physical aggression was part of my daily routine.
