Expertise

My musicological background and scholarly studies on performance traditions and practices affords me to be able to tackle a multitude of questions. I am able to answer any questions posed about standard Western classical music: its history, its performance practices and traditions, conducting, pedagogy, its theoretical and philosophical analysis and the critical receptions of works. If the answer for a question is unknown to me, I will still provide an answer to the best of my knowledge using the limitless resources I have at my disposal and or directing the person posing the question to other resources. The majority of my educational training was centered around the performance practices of classical music and the practical ability of playing string instruments. Furthered education has led me to become a scholar of French classical music as well as psychology as it relates to music.

Experience in the area

My experience in the area has led me to play with some leading local symphony orchestras, help lead summer music festivals, create summer camps, organize charity events and participate in master classes in some of the best institutions for music. Along with my practical studies, I have copyrighted several scholarly studies on Russian repertoire and compositional analysis.
