College admissions can be a very confusing and overwhelming process for parents and the children. I serve as an objective third party to help families through this process.

2011-12-22 college:

I think it is a decent school, but it is not as strong as many other universities.  It has  fairly low test scores with the lowest being an 18 on the ACT.  It is more of a commuter campus and fewer students

2011-12-21 college:

I think you have a good chance of getting into Boise State.  They will definitely want to see your grades at the end of the spring semester so you need to continue to work hard.  It is not a real selective

2011-12-14 selecting college:

I do not believe that the University of Alabama is worth the extra money when Washington State University offers a good program. There is not enough difference in their programs to warrant the extra tuition

2011-11-06 So many!:

If your school does not provide AP courses, you can usually find a place on the college application to explain that.  Colleges are interested in the grades you have made in the most challenging courses
