I consider myself to be a "doctrine specialist" if there is such a thing. I offer scripture to support or refute (as needed) any doctrine practiced within what is commonly termed "Christianity" today. I am willing to try questions on prophecy and history, though they are weak points. I have learned a little, however. Also, as I am disabled, I have time to research many things. For example, I can find a congregation of the church within twenty miles of your ZIP Code if one exists. If traveling, I can locate a congregation for your visit. I am accountable in this ministry to a group of Christians. I will share my answers with them for review. If a question is private, I will redact the names for privacy.
I became a Christian on April 7, 1969. I have been a substitute, spur-of-the-moment preacher for thirty years. I am currently the minister for the congregation in Braswell, GA. My sermons have always contained at least fifty percent scripture. On occasion, I have preached in seven states, and four foreign nations. This is beside my online ministry.
I hope to never mislead anyone saying I'm a member of one group, when I'm really in another as one here does. By his own admission, he isn't a member of the church, but of the "Christian Church" (sic) denomination. If I can be honest, I don't know why others would want to lie.
While I am not a history expert, I can run research to find out about when a practice was introduced into the apostate religions. Would you like me to find this information as well? There is a new Christian sattelite network beginning 11-26-05: http://www.GBNTV.org . Look for it.
We all continue to grow if we're faithful. When we stop growing, it's time to take a deep look inward.
There is a prophecy relating to churches of Christ of which many are unaware. In 533 A.D. pope John II was named "Lord of the Church." This completed catholicism's break from the church, and sent us into hiding; "The Dark Ages." Revelation 12:6 says the church would remain in this wilderness "1260 days." In 1793 (1260 years after pope John II) the Restoration began. We became known again.
A chapel is a church building, right? "A Cappella" translates from Latin to "Of the Chapel." "A Cappella" music is "Of the Chapel" music; it is in church buildings. Logically then, instrumental music is not found in church buildings. So, if there is an instrument added to worship, it is not the church; the worship is vain (empty of meaning) teaching man's words.

Hi! James, this question is probably up for more debate than any other topic than the Bible. I am going to try giving you the short answer. I just want you to remember, there are going to be many who
Hi! James, I am so sorry it took this long to respond. I am in the middle of a bunch of tests for my college classes. I am just now catching a break. I thank you for the opportunity to be of service
Hi! Brother Roy, do not worry about overtaxing me. When my school workload gets too heavy, I place myself on vacation at AllExperts. When I am free, I am more than happy to help you. Actually, I
Hi! Roy, thank you for the opportunity to answer this for you. Before I do, it seems you are missing a critical piece of information about the church. We do not have a doctrine that we created or that
Hi! Brother Brent, I believe Marc Thomas gives the standard answers you would expect from a denominationalist, as does Hoyt Robertson. The only difference between them is the name they use to designate
