Expertise

I will answer any questions that a person has pertaining to doubt. More specifically, I will assist a person who may be experiencing personal and spiritual difficulties in their Christian faith. It can be difficult at times, especially when the secular society becomes less and less compatible with a person's religious world-view. Logic, philosophy, history, biology, astronomy, sociology, psychology, and many other scholarly subjects today's youth learn make it extremely difficult at times to keep hold of their faith. If you are a teenager, college student, or just someone hoping to find some answers pertaining to how and where your faith applies today, I would be happy to help.

Experience in the area

I am a person who is always seeking answers. I have struggled several times throughout my life because of this. I enjoy studying several subjects, and each time I have come across several disciplinary topics that contradicted my Christian world-view or beliefs. In college I double majored in sociology and psychology, and I am currently attending my PhD studies in counseling psychology. I am an academic and am continually involved in research. Although my research focus is in psychology, I have been studying theology and the history of Christianity for the past year and 1/2. I view myself as a Christian philosopher, and to this day I appreciate how my academic knowledge and world-views have merged with my Christian beliefs.

Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Psychology from the State University of New York at Brockport; currently in the PhD Counseling Psychology Program at the University of Houston

The Bible's history, where it came from, how it was formed, people's ideology pertaining to it, and it's impact on society as a whole. The everyday Christian does not know much about it beyond what he or she may have learned in church.
