Expertise:  I'm happy to answer general beekeeping questions and provide information on swarms, bee removals, bees as pollinators, and Africanized bees. My beekeeping style is somewhere between "natural" and "organic", so if you have an interest in keeping bees in a chemical-free environment, I can help with that as well. I do bee removals and swarm collections in So. California, and may be able to help you find a bee-remover if you're elsewhere.

Experience in the area
I got my first hive five years ago and have been quite bee-obsessed. I've worked with both commercially bred and feral bees and practice primarily organic beekeeping methods. I'm currently working with commercial bees and ferals from the So. California costal and high desert areas. I'm activly working with other feral and organic beekeepers to help restore the healthy and non-Africanized feral honeybee population.

Education/Credentials
I make my living as an Engineer, developing and testing medical equipment. My bee-training is informal, but intensive, and I've built an excellent network of bee-mentors, particularly in the feral and organic bee communities.
