Seems the system is reset, and needs to be done again. Probably when it lost power. Right, Ok, try this. Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward all the way just before cranking. Then
Hmmmm, Likely to be factory if it's the car's own horn honking. However, if it's a siren and flashing lights, it's after market. Ok, here's what I know... Normally, putting the key in the drivers

Ok, here's what I know... Normally, putting the key in the drivers side door lock, turning to the left, then to the right all the way will unlock and disarm/reset the "OEM factory" alarm system
Model & year of the vehicle? Please be more descriptive if possible. "GOING OFF?" I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are dealing with
