Experience in the area
I live in Slovenia half of the year and have done so since before the country joined the European Union. In my years there, I have had first-hand experience with the American embassy, the purchase of real estate, cultural differences, language, booking travel, use of air/bus/rail transportation, shopping, border changes (now Schengen), and their medical system. I am most familiar with the coastal area, but have traveled throughout the country and the Istrian Peninsula.
