I will not answer questions on advanced motor control, logic controllers, and questions which are typically engineering functions: short circuit current calcs, power factor correction, etc.

Mark... Without a schematic, I can't tell you what color wire does what... However...... this motor has multiple windings.(2) When it is being operated on 120 volts, these two windings are connected

Kathie..... The short answer is yes. 10-12 KW is about the same as your average electric range. NOW....the usual voltage supplied to a house is 120/240 volts. The questions you need to get answered
