Health, nutrition, training. Please note: I used to highly recommend Innova products but, unfortunately, as with Canidae, they have sold out to Proctor & Gamble. This guarantees lower quality to a dangerous point so I will no longer be advising anyone to buy it.

What do you like about this subject?

I love this breed and want owners to understand how to have a happy dog who's getting superior nutrition and how to deal with veterinarians.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I learn something new every day and don't think that process will ever end.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Cockers are cute, sociable dogs. They're also very dominant dogs and if it's handled immediately & correctly this can be history in a week. Let it go and it's big trouble.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

I encourage people to do their homework when it comes to vets. They're not all equal and not all are good. Ask questions. Read up on medications. Avoid steroids unless convinced they're necessary. Be pro-active ! Get referrals to specialists.

One tablet per day.    Half water/half vinegar to clean ears.    When cleaning ears - be sure not to put tip of applicator down the ear canal...keep it slightly above the opening.  Is she scratching her

This made me laugh because, like you, I've created the same problem.    A couple of questions:  Where do they sleep?  Are you "taking" them out before bedtime and making sure they've urinated?  How are

If you have a guest bathtub that isn't in use - leaving it full of water & vinegar will save you from having to fill it up again.  Or buy a kiddy pool or some large "container" that you can use outside

Okay.  First - start the Zyrtec.    I think this is yeast overgrowth and the simplest thing to try is a half water/half plan white vinegar 1 minute soak daily for 3 days. (Much faster & easier than a bath
