What do you like about this subject?  I love the fact that the show is written and executed in a way that doesn't "dumb down" the viewers. The subjects the show deals with are timely and spoken about smartly, educationally even.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I want to learn about the parts of government and civics that got skipped when I was in high school. As well as what happens when a partian Congress actually agrees on things, as fictional as a television show is.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  I grew up about 10 minutes from Washington DC, and during my career in film and television I have been fortunate enough to have worked on the West Lawn of the US Capitol, the North Lawn of the White House and the Kennedy Center, among other historical venues.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  I find it interesting that the creator/writer Aaron Sorkin has an uncanny way of addressing subjects within the show, that ironicly become true National/International issues soon thereafter.
