What do you like about this subject?

I practice in beautiful Monterey County, California and have patients come to see me from all over the country. I am fluent in Spanish and Japanese. I am deeply committed to courteous, responsive and personal care. You can read all about me and my clinic at my website, montereybayivf.com. Follow our daily updates on Twitter @montereybayivf.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I would hope that eventually it will be possible to help all women, regardless of their reproductive difficulty, to acheive their dream of a family. We have come such a long way since Steptoe's first IVF baby but we still have a long way to go in order to make the ability to have a child easily achieved as well as more affordably achieved.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Regardless of your infertility challenge, there is a way to have a child! Thinking "outside the box" is very helpful when it comes to facing the sometimes very frustrating process of becoming a parent.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

When should you seek a specialist? The answer is when you feel you need a specialist. For some that will be right from the start, when you realize you are not getting pregnant. For others, that will not be until they have exhausted their options with their Ob/Gyn doctors.
