What do you like about this subject?

I've never met a child who didn't love to freely explore with art materials.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I hope to write a truly classic children's picture book one day. I'm proud of the 20 books on art that I have already written. These can be seen at my website, http://www.brightring.com....and also, lots of free sample art projects from the books are there.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

It's easy!

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Research shows that kids who draw frequently, simply with pencil and blank paper, do better in all subjects in school than kids who do not draw.
