What do you like about this subject?

I enjoy finding ways to incorporate other mediums into my finished pottery products. I enjoy working with found basketry materials and spend time looking for new weaving materials when I'm looking for clay. I think basketry is a wonderful medium that allows creativity and the ability to use what nature has placed within our reach.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I hope to move into more indepth restoration projects by taking on earlier furniture designs.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Some of the oldest baskets made in the US were found in Utah dating back 7000 BC.
