The 80s: a decade where the music was grand. i learned a great deal on the wonderworkings of new wave artists; those pop-rock ditties were remarkable, yet the laid-back love songs were always as good as it was then. as regards artists and their songs,i maybe of help though i'm partial to rap,country,and metal. I am also a smooth jazz junkie and may have infos to take you along a splendid music cruise in our time.

Hello Philip, this one was worth hearing back. i like this song too as a kid, so with the other kids in the family. It was sung by Anthony Quinn & Charlie aptly titled "Life Itself Will Let You Know".
Hello Tony, I have a long list of these OPM hits especially if we get the tops in a ten year span, from 80 to 89, though I only got 10 from the most popular artists. Hope your Aunt will find these songs

hello dan, i probably can't give you the right answer just yet 'coz i may need more clues. there seem tons of jazz tracks that are so nice but we can hardly get to know who the artist was or what the song
hello andrew, there probably are other tunes that comes to mind but i can only think of one song that might fit your clues, it's "Clouds Across The Moon" by the RAH Band. The RAH Band ironically was not
