I can answer questions regarding humane capture and control of wildlife. I can`t answer questions about factory farming, vivisection etc.

Past/Present Clients

Owned Wildlife Removal Service until sold in 1998. Then I ran Wildlife Damage Control, a consulting company, which was sold in 2004.

What do you like about this subject?

I like exposing the fallacies and inaccuracies of the animal rights protest industry. I am saddened by the polarization of the issues regarding animal welfare and how the issue has devolved into animal rights.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I hope to educate the public that there is a difference between being concerned about animal welfare and adopting the extreme and dangerous position of animal rights. Animal rights activists make many claims about trapping and animal damage control that fail to account for all the information. I intend speak for ignored animal damage controllers.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Most people don't know how trapping (including footholds) help protect property, safety, health and yes, endangered species. Otters have been trapped with footholds for the direct purpose of relocating to areas where they have long been exterminated. Animal rights protestors won't tell the public this. Instead they will tell about all the alleged horror stories with footholds and traps in general.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Most animal rights activists claim they are concerned about animal suffering. But what people don't know is how they support laws and policies that actually harm wildlife. They ban traps that are actually less injurious to wildlife. There is also the legitimate question concerning whether or not animal rights activist practice cultural genocide regarding Native American Hunting Practices.

No. First, I doubt that such an action would be legal in your state. Second, releasing the animal in an unfamiliar environment put it and other creatures at risk. Visit http://icwdm.org/wildlife/euthanasia/relocation
