I can address questions regarding atheism, agnosticism, skepticism, humanism, religious philosophy & history, and arguments both for and against theism. I am also familiar with many of the skeptical and atheist resources in print and on the internet.
I have been an atheist and a secular humanist for many years. I actively run a site about agnosticism & atheism and attempt to help people understand more about these topics. I have made extensive study of both philosophy and of a wide vareity of religions.
I belong to the Freedom From Religion Foundation and the Council for Secular Humanism.
My writings appear every week on the Agnosticism/Atheism site
I have a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA from Princeton University. I have also studied in Germany and Switzerland.
Phi Beta Kappa and a Fulbright Scholar.
What I enjoy most is the fact that the study of religion and philosophy overlaps so many different areas: politics, education, science, anthropology, and more.
I still hope to learn more about the nature of religion: why it exists, why it developed as a part of our cultural evolution, and what purposes it might continue to serve in our future.
There are many myths that people have about atheism and religious skepticism - too many to list here. I do, however, want to help dispell as many as possible.

All my articles on tax exemptions for religious organizations are here: http://atheism.about.com/od/churchestaxexemptions/ Large changes in the laws are unlikely - they enjoy too much support.

Before a "public revelation" can be explained, we'd first need a clear example of one occurring. We need some actual event to talk about before trying to explain something - otherwise, there is literally
There's no denying that you're in a very difficult situation and you have to proceed carefully. You absolutely should be a positive, secular role model in her life but I'm sure that if you push too hard
