I can answer general questions on travel to Asia. From Northern India, and to the east. I know most about the Philippines and Thailand. I cannot answer questions south of Singapore.

Experience in the area

I backpacked through most of Asia for two and a half years, from 1984 to 1986. I taught english in Taiwan for five months. I worked on a Kibbutz for a year in Israel. I lived in the Philippines for two years and in Japan for four years. I traveled regularly to Thailand. I also lived in Italy for three years.
