If I don't know the answer, I'll research it or direct you to another source. As well, I'm available to DJ events and speak on the impact and need for Contemporary Christian music. As a writer, I've had the opportunity to interview great artists such as: Crystal Lewis, Papa San, Christ Fa Real, Ramiyah, Knowdaverbs and Tammy Trent. As a DJ, I've played at fashion shows, school formals, birthday parties, Thanksgiving dinners ... But my favorite gig was spinning all of the music for a co-worker's wedding and reception.

What do you like about this subject?

I love a good melody. I love good lyrics and heart tugging, calming, entertaining vocals. Most of all, I love listening to music that builds up my spirit and eases depression.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

It is my desire with my DJing and writing to "break" new artists and expose more people to the artists that I love.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Christian music is the one genre of music that actually showcases ALL genres of music. That's because it is the message that counts. And the parables of Jesus sound good over Hip Hop and Dance styles as well as Tradtional/Sacred styles.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

I so hope that volunteering here will lead to me DJing Inspirational music full time. Whether it be Christian music or positive Mainstream music (i.e. Old school R&B, Jazz, Doo Wop, Country).
