I have been a big fan of this style of music for years, have learned about many bands and styles as I am guitarist in a metal band.
What do you like about this subject?
Everything, it is a genre with many sub genres all of which have something different to offer.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?
I hope to gain experience with the band I am in, gaining concert and tour experience that you can only get by actually doing it.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:
American heavy metal band MANOWAR hold the record for "loudest band" after playing at 129.5db, they also were voted the act russian youths most wanted to see live back in 1993, finishing ahead of acts such as The Beatles and Michael Jackson.
