Specifically, I can answer questions on Indian Classical Music. I am a classically trained flautist and a student of the Late Padma Bhushan Pundit V.G.Jog. I have been learning music for the last 20 years. After 20 years I feel I have just about scratched the surface. It is such a vast ocean that no one has has been able to swim to the other side. I hope to someday to teach western musicians to introduce microtones (SHRUTIS)in their music. An attempt which seems to have died with Don Ellis who had added a 4th key to his trumpet to play microtones.
