Hi Paul, I'm assuming you are talking about the article I wrote on Making it in the Music Business. I really don't think
I would say, without a doubt, to stay at the Opryland Hotel. It's just so unbelievably magical during the Christmas Season. If you need visit the downtown district just take use of the hotel's shuttle
I wouldn't change plans at all- most all of Nashville is open and businesses is back to normal with the exception of a few places like Opry MIlls Mall, Gaylord Opryland Hotel, and Schermerhorn Symphony
Normally there aren't any super great fireworks shows on NYE here, but this year they are having one downtown near the Hard Rock Cafe. I always recommend staying at Opryland during the Christmas season-
Carla, Congrats on getting into Vandy! Imho, $3000 is cutting it close but it is doable. Vandy is like having a city within Nashville - it's big. The good news it since it's so big it also has its own
