I can answer questions about setting up a studio--the basics, what you shouldn't spend money on, what's worth its price. I can give tips on voice training--you can do it yourself, timing, programming and interviewing guests. What I cannot give is specific technical or legal advice relating the actual broadcast signal of your situation. I can lead you to sources of information.
Former on-air radio personality. In more recent years, I've co-written, co-executive-produced and appeared in two television commercials and I've written, voiced and produced a small handful of radio ads. I'm now a writer but given the chance, I'd do a live radio show in a heartbeat.
Former member, National Association of Student Broadcasters Member, The Freelancers' Union.
BA, Speech Communication, University of Maryland (1993).
