Expertise: Any questions that deal with being in a (rock) band. Questions about all aspects of being in a (rock) band, from auditioning musicians to performance contracts to finally getting the chance to get into the recording studio.
Experience in the area I have been a professional musician for over 30 years - playing in venues from The Grand Ole Opry to dinner theaters to small pubs. I play 6 & 12-string guitars (acoustic & electric), keyboards, flute, clarinet, saxophone & various peripheral percussion. Besides performing rock-n-roll cover tunes and original rock compositions I've performed other styles of music including CW, Pop & Christian Rock. I'm familiar with all the ups & downs of forming and keeping a band together; how to deal with ego's, drugs, musical direction, the importance of practice, the artistic direction of the live show, and more...
Organizations "Unplugged" - my current band.
Education/Credentials Studied music since the 3rd grade, mastered woodwinds by age 15, self-taught & private lessons on guitars and keys, no musical degree unless you count a lifetime of experience in the music industry. While others teach notes and timing, I'm able to communicate the soul of music and what it takes to belong to a group of musicians who are all striving to avoid the inevitable roadblocks facing every rock band so they may reach the same artistic horizon together.
