Dan, I don't think you'll be able to do a direct coversion from the PRT files to PDF. However, you can convert PRT to DXF thru Cadkey's CDE Execute. Acrobat should then be able to open these DXF files

Bryan, yes you'll be able to import the file in Visio. The only caveat is that you can only import autocad dwg versions 2002 & older. Any drawings created earlier than that, visio will not recognize.

2009-02-24 making a screw with threads:

Druidia, in my experience drawing a screw (w/ full detail) is useless. If you're just trying to incorporate this into your design/assembly, i would just create a simple block representation of the screw
