Something controversial or provocative about this subject  The river continuum concept.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  Brown trout (Salmo trutta), ringneck pheasant (Phasianus colchicus), and wild turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) are NON-NATIVE and introduced species in most regions of America.

By having bird feeders you might actually be changing the natural course of evolution!

Conservation agencies like Trout/Ducks Unlimited acquire and protect millions of acres of natural land/water a year?

What do you like about this subject?  Everything and anything.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  My primary objective in ecology is to become a professor at a major accredited University, and constantly be involved in field projects as well as creating my own research ideas.
