What do you like about this subject?
What I like about Pagan / Wicca Religion is the magic. There is such beauty and wonder in the rituals and songs. The sweet smell of potions and essential oils are intoxicating. Even just a simple walk through a forest or on a beach can suddenly become a journey filled with enchantment. This faith is open to anyone with an open heart and mind.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?
I hope to continue on this path learning more about the connection between spirituality and art. I am fascinated by the tools and symbols used in the craft. My special interest is in the use of wands and staffs for practical magic and ritual.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject
Controversial subjects abound in Paganism / Wicca. One of the current subjects that has come up in many debates is the idea of blending Paganism / Wicca with other faiths. Can someone be a practicing Christian and a witch? Is a Jewish Pagan just an oxymoron? This is a hard subject even for people practicing Wicca. I am sure this is a subject that will be debated for years to come.
