Expertise

I can answer questions around relationship, family, and work stress. I prefer not to answer questions that primarily are about financial stress.

Experience in the area

We all have stress in our lives, it's as certain as change. Often times, if we can have a shift in perspective, we are then able to take our focus off of what's stressing us and on to finding a way to move forward.I have helped numerous individuals make that shift. I also teach relationship classes.

What do you like about this subject?

Stress is common to all of us. Spending more minutes of the day enjoying life instead of worrying or being tied up in knots is what it's all about.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I am always reading and attending workshops to expand my knowledge.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Sometimes we draw conclusions about our situation that add to our stress. Having a willingness to shift our focus is key to lessening the stress.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

We make choices about what we let into our lives and what we will not. We cannot control what life brings us, but we can choose how we will respond to what life brings (whether we will stress about it or find a way to experience peace of mind instead).
