What do you like about this subject?

I love sewing home dec because there are no patterns and you can be so creative.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

You can always learn from others and I love the satisfaction of helping others achieve their goals.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Interlining (a 100% Cotton Flanel) make all the difference in the world when using it as a layer between the face fabric and the lining

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Can you wash Home Decor Fabrics? Only if you test! Cut a 12"square and serge the edges then wash it on hot and discover the results. Many fabrics can be washed but not always recommended. Testing will help you decide if the fabric should be dry cleaned or is washable.
