Yes and no. If you delete emails and use the Trash Bin, you or another person cannot retrieve them, BUT they are still on the hard drive and an "expert" could retrieve them. Usually done in criminal
Not a problem and glad to help. I shut my modem off every night. My routine is turn off printer, then the router, then the modem, then the computer. It goes pop when the computer is ready to go off
