I am not an expert or an artiste in the reggae music industry, but I will attempt to answer questions specifically in relation to lovers rock from the late 70s to the late 80s. I may also be able to help with queries regarding revival, dancehall and reggae in general.
My experience lies in being a listener and appreciater of reggae music of all genres since the 70s. Lovers rock in particular is quite specific to the UK and I am often able to answer questions relating to artists and lyrics.
I hope to share the knowledge that I have built up over the years with others, and in turn, learn more about a genre of music that I love.

Hello David, Thank you for your question. This is obviously a popular tune as I have been asked this question before. I believe the track you may be after is called "The Way We Were" by Prediction
Hello Clyde, This song is called 'Caught You In A Lie' and sung by the original Queen of Lovers Rock, Louisa Mark, who sadly passed away in Gambia a couple weeks ago. This track is considered by many
Hi Marcelle, So glad that I have been able to help, especially in view of the poignant memories these tunes bring back for you. Again, not sure which version you wanted so they are both here. http://www
Hi There, Think I've definitely hit the nail on the head this time! It was John Holt, Dennis Alcapone & Lizzy on the Ackee label (hence the yellow). Released in 1970 and credited to Lizzy and Dennis
