What I would suggest is speaking with local fireplace companies. Let them know what fireplace and model you have and they should be able to help locate a gas valve. Other option is to try and find

Hard to say. Here in Alberta it is prohibited to install any sort of insert into a zero clearances fireplace. So it's not something that we do. I would suggest speaking with a local fireplace company
