I can answer any questions that have to do with Saddle Seat, Saddlebreds, and Saddle Seat Equitation and any breed that has to do with Saddle Seat. I am by no means an expert but I will try to answer your question the best I can or I will help point you in the right direction.
Saddle Seat Equitation and a little training. Starting my first semester to obtain an Equine Science Bachelor Degree this August.
When I owned a horse I was a member to the USEF, UPHA, and ASHA.
I have written or co-written articles on a website I host that focuses on Saddle Seat Equitation: http://regaljada.tripod.com/saddleseatequitation/index.html
15 years of riding and showing American Saddlebreds on a national level training with one of the best Saddlebred barns in the country. I have experience with giving Equitation lessons and some Saddle Seat training experience. I am in the process of getting my Equine Science Degree concentration in Saddle Seat from William Woods University.
1st place at many A rated shows including the American Saddlebred World Championships and Top Ten in Saddle Seat Equitation finals.
Saddle Seat is so exciting. Saddle Seat riders embrace the energy and flash that comes naturally to our horses. I like that Saddle Seat has a lot in common with dressage (when done correctly) but yet is more exciting and flashy while still elegant.
I continue to learn something new everyday. I hope to one day be able to operate and train at my own Saddle Seat show horse training facility and maybe if I'm lucky instruct passionate and dedicated equitation riders.
It started in the American South and the discipline is accessible to anyone willing to learn.
Unfortunately there are a few bad apples in this discipline and their actions become the tales that everyone hears about Saddle Seat. Since most people do not get exposure to Saddle Seat they believe that the stories they hear are everyday practices. All I am hoping to promote is education on the subject of Saddle Seat because it is a great discipline with an interesting history.

Saddle Seat attire is very different from any other disicipline attire. So no a collar bar shirt is not like a hunt shirt, in fact saddle seat attire is basically old fashioned men's attire just modernized
Hi. There are many exercises I could give you but they are easily googled or found with a trip to a book store or library. Some people find learning how to sit the trot first before returning to canter
Hello. I am not an Arabian rider. I can only go by what the rules state. There is a forum for Arabian riders that would be a better place to ask your question. The website is: http://forums.arabianbreeders
Thats fine. Yes Saddle Seat rider's post differently because Saddle Seat horses move differently when compared to huntseat horses. Remember riding is all about form = function. In huntseat the horse
