Expert Profile: Elder Greg Madden

Expertise:  I am available to answer questions concerning most Biblical doctrines, Catholic beliefs, the gifts and fruit of the Spirit, and the history of the Pentecostal movement. Please understand that I will answer any questions you may have from a Biblical perspective, not a Catholic one.

Experience in the area
I have studied the Catholic religion for many years, and I have discussed questions and issues conserning this faith with those who are followers of the Catholic religion. Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  Mother Teresa was a universalists & believed one can be saved apart from faith in Jesus. When M.T. died biographer Naveen Chawla said he once asked her “Do you convert?” She said “Of course I convert. I convert you to be a better Hindu or a better Muslim or a better Protestant. Once you’ve found God it’s up to you to decide how to worship him” Mother Teresa Touched other Faiths, A.P. Sept 7, 1997
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  The roman catholic church is a backslidden christian church which is at variance with the Bible and true Biblical doctrine, especially regarding praying to the dead, the veneration/worship of the virgin Mary (marianism), purgatory, and the nature of justification.
