Something controversial or provocative about this subject  Backyard Breeding is a blight on the canine species. Dogs should not be bred because they are 'cute', because your female 'needs' to experience motherhood or for a fast buck. If you have questions regarding breeding there are other experts in this category that are more than willing to help...I am not. Breeding questions should be directed to your mentor.
What do you like about this subject?  I adore Boxers! I've grown up with several different breeds of dog and absolutely love the antics of the Boxer dog.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I enjoy reading and studying new theories about dog health and behavior. The dog world is ever evolving and new opinions and ideas pop up constantly!
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  There are no black Boxers. The Boxer dog does not carry the genetic trait for the black coat color. Anyone selling a black Boxer is either selling you a mutt or a brindle Boxer. Don't be fooled!
