I am especially interested in helping people recognize the importance of questioning the religion one was born into. Whether one winds up believing or not, developing a mature stance about faith or atheism requires willingness to study the issue free of persuasion from religous "authorities" and to find a belief stance that affords the most effective existence for the individual.
My book about spiritual development was published by Quest Books in October, 2012. One of the principle points in the book is that a mature stance regarding whether to believe or not believe in religion depends on going through an all-important period of skepticism. I have collected and written many stories about people making this crucial step in their development. I understand the factors that make a person move to this stance and I can explain the benefits of doing so.
