I'm a keen Linguist myself & am deeply interested in many branches of Linguistic.
I can answer questions relating to:
In addition, I'm fairly comfortable (if not, I could do my research before being able to answer your question to your full satisfaction) with the differences in British regional accent along with many International Accent like North American, Down Under, Indian & Far Eastern.
Alongside, I'm comfortable with the rules of identifying the sound/phonetic in words in English language & the stress pattern involved along with syllabic aspect of it.
I use International Phonetic Alphabets (IPA) along with Sampa transcript.
I'm deeply interested in these topics, which I've enlightened myself for the past few years by self-teaching myself doing my research using many different resources.
I love the fact that such an interest helps me improve my communication to the extent that people hardly witness among someone who happens to fall within the same age-group. Flowery communication always entices me.
I wish to be able to immediatedly identify the "sound articulation" of ANY speaker speaking ANY language in the world AND be flexible enough to be able to articulate it myself.
