I can answer questions dealing with preparing for birth, childbirth classes, pregnancy, doulas, VBAC, natural childbirth, cesarean birth, interventions in labor, labor, birth, helping someone through labor, concerns or fears about labor and birth, doulas, breastfeeding, and other topics dealing with pregnancy, labor, and birth.
Since 2004, I have taught childbirth education classes focused on helping couples gain confidence, make decisions for their birth, and give them tools for helping them get the birth they want. Since 2004, I have also attend births in local hospitals as a birth doula (as of 3/09, I have attended 91 births) , so I am able to see firsthand what is working in helping couples deal with labor. I am a mom of five children.

Hi Wendy, Macaroni doesn't go bad sitting out overnight and macaroni, even if it was out overnight, doesn't cause lysteria or toxoplasmosis. As long as it was just the macaroni that was left out overnight
Hi Jennifer, If your cervix is shortening, your doctor's concern would be that you might go into labor very early. There isn't anything that you did that caused this - it just happens sometimes.
Hi Tina, I am so so sorry about the loss of your babies. Brown discharge sounds like old blood - there appears to be some kind of bleeding going on. I would suggest following up with your doctor
You raise a lot of good questions - if you conceived on 9/3, that would put your due date at the 2nd u/s estimate of 5/27/10. If your due date was 5/10/10, you would have conceived mid-August. If you
