Pole Dancing is becoming a popular past-time. No longer just for entertainment in Gentlemen's clubs, Pole Dancing is now found as fitness and dance classes in gyms and studios across the world, as well as in thousands of homes with the ease of buying a pole for at-home use! I can answer questions about the right pole for you to buy, how to choose a class for you, or how to learn at home. I have a wide knowledge of pole tricks, poses and spins, and can help with correct and safe learning of them.
Three years' of teaching experience - I teach beginner to advanced level weekly. I dance at advanced level. I have entered 3 competitions, in both amateur and professional categories. I have danced in various clubs. I am a regular pole performer at events in the South West UK.

Appeared as part of the "PoleKitten" act on the BBC reality show "Upstaged". PoleKitten reached the final 4 acts out of over 200 applicants, and 42 competitors appearing on the show.
One of my students went on to win The PoleDivas Championships 2009 Advanced Category and the UK Amateur Pole Performer Expert (UKAPP) Category. I have trained Chris from the Bristol-based band "Light Of Words" for their music video "Do One". "Pitstop Paulina" from GWR Local Bristol Radio, and Helen Adams from Big Brother II have attended my classes.
There is ALWAYS something new to learn. New tricks and combinations are always being created. I would like to improve my own strength and flexibility - this can make the moves you already know look even better!
Many of the tricks performed in a pole dance actually come from China (Circus: Chinese Pole) and India (Mallakhamb - Pole Gymnastics) both traditionally performed by men.
The BBC rejected plans for a show called "Strictly Come Pole Dancing" in 2006 after complaints from a Women's Group. The show was to be a one-off in aid of Comic Relief.
