I can answer in depth and with great vivid description most questions regarding self-harm, the reason behind it and even rationalize the state of mind one might be in when cutting. I won't claim to be an expert in any other area but this one. I would like to offer my assistance to others like me who need an opinon from a firsthand view. :)
Experience in the area
I have been a self-mutilator for 11 years now. I have seen its steady progression and addictive hold on a very personal level. I have seen its early stages and the horror one slip up can cause.
Education/Credentials
Firsthand experience. They really don't teach you this stuff in schools. :)
