Hi Johnnie: While my memory may not be correct, I believe it is located under the driver's side dash - up behind the dash a bit. Look for a small squarish silver relay. It may even say "Flasher Relay"
Hi Russell: Just running out of gas would not ordinarily effect the head gasket. If not already done, make sure the cylinder head is/was "re-torqued" after the engine was first run after the installation
Hi Clyde: Compared to most more modern (newer) cars, the run-of-the-mill MG does, and will,leak oil even when new or newly rebuilt. Not much, but they do leak. Having said that if I were you I'd clean
