What do you like about this subject?

They are a fairly simple and beautiful instrument. The tone and the playability are the keys to a great banjo experience.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I am still looking to get to happy combination of art and technical worlds to work together. That perfect tone that I can say is mine.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Banjos are a great instrument as the front sound and of course with other banjos in the traditional way. I love to play and record in rock bands, metal and a single backup for vocals.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

The silly way some folks look at a banjo. The heck or backward country stigma that seems to some free with every banjo. Movies and jokes push that stuff along and it is funny. I an from a big city along with the people I play along side. I guess some country people enjoy a banjo too. People have said things but I laugh them off.
