I can answer all questions about canine nutrition. Topics such as, but not limited to: Supplements (vitamin/mineral, herbs, probiotics, digestive, etc) allergy diets, eliminating food sensitivities, weight gain, protein rotation, grain-free diets, homemade, raw including prey-model Raw Meaty Bones diet, BARF diet, etc. I help owners choose a diet plan that is suited to the dog, as well as to the owner's preferences. I can also give reviews or input on individual brands of food.
I am an advocate of a balanced natural raw diet. I worked for a holistic pet food company, and I sell super-premium pet foods, including kibble, canned, freeze-dried, and frozen raw. I am very familiar with many brand names of pet food, including the companies, the specific formulas and their differences, as well as the process of making pet food. I have fostered many rescue dogs, as well as my own dogs, and have come up with solutions to food allergies and different nutritional needs of each dog or puppy.
Several websites, articles about raw diets and nutrition topics http://www.examiner.com/x-7848-Chicago-Dog-Training-Examiner
I have done extensive research on canine nutrition and holistic diet. I offer nutritional consultations to my clients, I am a professional dog trainer/behaviorist. I believe nutrition is the foundation of health, and goes along with a holistic approach to training a dog.

Nothing wrong with feeding canned puppy food, as long as it's a good quality food. She is small, so there's no reason to not buy the best quality food you can. You want to keep her blood sugar stable
You are in Canada, there is a couple great brands of food made in Alberta I believe, they are also sold in the US, company is Champion Pet foods, brands are Acana and Orijen. They make a large breed puppy

I think it would be good, and it's never too late for better nutrition, I've known people who've changed to raw diet with a senior dog, sometimes due to a medical or GI condition. In my opinion it can
It's probably because it's not easy for young puppies to digest bones like that, or that a chunk of the bone breaking off could cause a blockage in a small dog or puppy. She should be fine though. If
