I have experienced an early miscarriage (11wks) myself and can offer support & answer most questions about this subject. Please note that I am NOT in the medical profession but have first hand experience as well as studying the different types of miscarriage. If I can't help you then I'll always try and point you in the right direction. *Please Note* I do not answer questions on anything else other than miscarriage. Please be aware of this & sensitive to other questioners when asking your question.
First hand experience of miscarriage. I had a very nasty miscarriage. I felt like I was VERY misinformed & the information I needed was just not available to make the right choices, so I immersed myself in books and websites to find out what it was about and why it happened. I'd like to pass this on to other women (& men!) who have had the same experience. I'm here for any questions or just support for men & women.

That many women go on to have a healthy and sucessful pregnancy...there IS hope!
Hopefully I'll achieve a successful pregnancy with a healthy baby (my due date is 5th September 2008), but I'd also like to hope that I'll make the difference to at least one person.
It's estimated that 1 in 4 women will experience miscarriage in their lives, some don't even realise it's happened. Do you think "why me?"...proof that it can happen to ANYONE.. http://babyfruit.typepad.com/baby/celebrity_miscarriages/index.html
Even though miscarriage is so common, there is still so little support and information for the sufferers. I was told that you can be given 'too much information'. Sorry, but you can never be too informed!

Hi Jenni To diagnose a miscarriage you first need to confirm a pregnancy. Unfortunately if a miscarriage is suspected without a confirmed pregnancy, it's difficult to diagnose it without investigation
Hi Gee Reading through your question, I think you would be more suited to a fertility expert. The link to this page is http://www.allexperts.com/el/Infertility-Fertility/ However, I will add
Hi Amanda These sound like classic hormonal symptoms and as you are regular, it seems that you have had your first cycle on time. It's not unusual to have a heavy, clotted period after a miscarriage
Hi Amanda Please could you tell me what date you miscarried & when you stopped bleeding? Also, are you normally regular with your cycles? This is so I can collect more information so I am
Hi Yvonne It's not unusual for women to experience a change in their periods after a miscarriage. You do not say how big the clots are. As long as they are no bigger than a dime and theres no
