Expertise: I am an expert in Beatles recording anomolies(different mixes on various albums) mono v stereo differences, bootlegs .I have 4000 vinyl albums in my collection by the Beatles and other artistes. I also have a great interest in Beatles promo videos for their singles and non single tracks

Have been buying Beatles records for over 40 years and have various versions of the same tracks just because they are different. I come from Liverpool , England so saw the Beatles phenomenon develop from the start and saw them live. I bought every record as it was released

What do you like about this subject? there's always something new to learn about the Beatles

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field? I find the answers given by the other experts interesting and have learnt a lot from their answers

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know: I went to the same school as Paul and George and they would practise guuitar in our school library. I was taught English there by John Lennon's uncle, Alfred Smith. I was born in and grew up in Liverpool and Beatle related subjects about the city interest me.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject One of the teachers told George Harrison he would never make money from playing a guitar. Paul george and John used to practise guitar chords in our school library. The school is now Paul's Liverpool Institute of Perforning Arts (LIPA)
