Expertise: I will address questions in reference to Jnana Yoga, Karma Yoga and the teachings of Jesus. My answers will not be based on traditional textual references, necessarily, as these can be irrelevant to the area of spiritual advancement. Much of what has been written is based in human conception and isn't always related to reality. The development of character is everything, and it is this that I will primarily address. However, nothing is off limits and if I have personal knowledge or experience with it, I will try to help you.
Topics might include: the essential nature of the Universal Source (God) and our
relation to it. The reason we exist. The nature of Karma as a tool of character growth. The meaning of Ananda and how it relates to us. Tools for controlling unwanted thoughts, through active contemplation, anytime, anywhere.
Nisarga Yoga.
Experience in the area I became aware of the divine presence 40 years ago and dedicated my life to its service. I have never regretted it. My path has been eclectic, and experiential, as my Teachers created circumstances for me to respond to and drew my attention to various books which were useful for me at the time. Some of the most inspirational for me have been: Light on the Path, The Art of Loving, Krishna's discussions with Arjuna, The Tao Teh Ching, I Am That (Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj) and the words of Jesus. I have had no gurus and would have no disciples. I try to learn from everything and everyone. My teachers are not of the Physical or Astral Plane and have no voices or images or names or titles. In the Christian tradition, they are called the Holy Spirit; in the Indian tradition, Ishvara. There is only their presence and the subtle promptings. I learned to be quiet inside and listen. This is available to all of us.
